Privacy Policy
Doot collects no data. Everything you enter stays on your device.
Effective October 3, 2026
The short version
- We don't collect, store or see any of your information.
- There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking.
- Doot doesn't connect to the internet or share anything with anyone.
What Doot stores, and where
Doot saves what you enter, such as your kids' names, colors and avatars, their routines and tasks, and which tasks were checked off each day, only on your device. It is not sent to us or to any third party.
If you use iCloud Backup or back up your iPhone to a computer, Apple may include Doot's data in that backup, as it does for most apps. Those backups are governed by Apple's privacy policy and your own settings, not by us.
Children's privacy
Doot is made for families and is meant to be set up by a parent or guardian. Because Doot collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children. Names you enter for your kids never leave your device.
Deleting your data
You can delete a kid, along with their routines and history, by pressing and holding their name and choosing Edit Kid, then Delete Kid. Deleting the Doot app removes all of its data from your device.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, for example if a future version adds optional iCloud sync, we'll update this page and the date above before that version is released.
